Office Location: Remote, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who has experience with procurement processes, contracts and working with RFx activities. This person will be sourcing events for the Real Estate Technology team. They will also be required to collaborate with internal teams to review contracts and support negotiations.

Ideally, the person would be located in EST but open to other areas in CA if the candidate is strong.

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:

  • Managing, coordinating and supporting RFx and contract renewal activities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to review contracts and drive negotiation results.
  • Owning strategic sourcing responsibilities across assigned CoRe Procurement categories.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce spend by driving more category-level sourcing events.
  • Advising and solutioning with senior level personnel on procurement and/or contracting strategy
Education/Experience:

3 years of relevant work experience in a Procurement role preferably in a global procurement capacity. College degree or higher in Business or related.
  • Experience in managing, coordinating or supporting RFx activities.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence senior level stakeholders in all US time zones is required.
  • Must be able to work independently, with an ability to interact and build consensus among people.
  • A team player, have strong analytical skills and be able to work under tight time constraints.
  • Must be organized with excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with the strategic procurement process in a large, decentralized environment.
  • Experience working on a virtual team.
  • Flexible with ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Personal interest and a willingness to stay abreast of trends and disruptive technology is highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required. Knowledge of Visio and Project preferred.
