As a student, you will build lasting relationships with industry leaders, and contribute to work that will build and strengthen your skill sets. Primary duties include:


  • Participate in technology integration and implementation sessions with Information Technology.

  • Help develop system training materials and support system training sessions.

  • Create presentations to communicate to relevant stakeholders on project status.

  • Work with Corporate Web team to update project website.

  • Work with SAP Ariba System Administrator to troubleshoot system related issues received after system go-live.

  • Work with Supply\xe2\x80\x99s Record Management Coordinator to support legacy file strategy.

  • Work with Supply\xe2\x80\x99s Performance Quality Management to define and build reporting.

  • Participate in daily / weekly project management meetings, including monthly project budget meetings with Finance.

  • Support preparation for decommissioning of existing legacy systems.

  • Help investigate other SAP Ariba modules that could benefit The City based on its current and future state.





Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information systems, or a related field.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Public Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management knowledge is an asset.

  • Experience with enterprise-wide contract management solutions (e.g. SAP, MERX, Ivalua, etc.) is an asset.

  • Success in this position requires strong communication (oral and written), a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment and collaboration with varying levels of the organization.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.

  • A security clearance will be conducted.

  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $26.63 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.




Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
