Roles and Responsibilities



Carries out inventory control functions including planning aggregate inventory requirements in accordance with business plan sales objectives, balancing company goals (Costs, Quality and Delivery), participating in analysis of material procurement decisions, and developing inventory management data systems. Manages, plans and reports on the status of all inventories owned by the business unit; Regularly analyzes the aging of inventory and identifies surplus material for disposal. Monitors materials and logistics measures of performance daily; adjusts as necessary to maintain deliverables. Manages complex material situations to yield cash and PBIT. Coordinates design and implementation of supply chain related quality systems; establishes and implements operating policies and procedures needed to achieve the strategic operating goals; reviews and recommends updates to company instructions and supply chain management. Cultivates on-going relationships with outside supplier and vendor organizations. Manages supplier contracts including price, timelines, terms etc. Provides day-to-day materials and operations management; plans productions requirements, assigns manpower, authorizes overtime and controls costs. Produces and maintains measure of performance to graphically display performance-related strengths and weaknesses and to identify improvement opportunities in material management. Exercises authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotions, discipline, health, safety and the general employee relations of direct reports. Investigates and implements new procedures and methods for cost reduction. Coordinates and liaises with other leadership roles to ensure production standard and goals are achieved. Understands procurement processes to ensure they meet TCAA and related aerospace industry quality requirements. Understands Risks in Supply chain management and identify opportunities. Other duties and special projects as may be assigned

Minimum Requirements



Degree or certificate in the fields of supply chain and inventory management or equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong understanding of how business requirements are gathered, analyzed and documented as well as translated into technical specifications Extensive experience and knowledge of working with MRP/ERP system Experience in procuring components, PCBs, and machined parts, that meet aerospace industry and regulatory quality requirements Experience sourcing and managing domestic and international suppliers Excellent technical writing skills and ability to document software requirements in a crisp way while relating them to database table and field level information and business system processing rules and logic Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities smoothly and professionally Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and organizational skills Superb interpersonal and communication skills, discretion, and excellent judgment. Willingness to Travel 10%

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
