Procurement Manager

What You'll Do
As our Procurement Manager, you will:
Develop trade tender packages aligned with budgets, timelines, and coordinated designs
Ensure all scopes, assumptions, and exclusions are crystal-clear and contract-ready
Lead the full procurement cycle: bid solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award
Prepare cost analysis documents
Negotiate bulk pricing, master agreements, and long-term vendor partnerships
Implement scalable procurement systems, tools, and processes across jurisdictions
Build forecasting models to anticipate supply and cost trends
Maintain and expand a reliable subcontractor and supplier network across Western Canada
Evaluate vendors
Deliver clear procurement handoffs to Project Managers with full scope and contract details
Foster relationships that uphold health & safety, company values, and performance culture
Conduct debriefs with Project Managers and stakeholders to improve future cycles
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years in procurement (multi-family residential, commercial/industrial construction, or manufacturing)
Proven success in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Deep expertise in negotiation and vendor management
Strong background in supply chain logistics, budgeting, tendering, and contracts
Experience balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution across jurisdictions
Collaborative mindset with proven success working cross-functionally with Design, Project Managers, and Finance
Education
Successful previous experience is most important. Any of the following would be an asset:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Construction Management, or Engineering
A diploma/certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Estimating, or Project Management
A professional designation such as SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional)
