We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Inventory Allocation Specialist to support our growing operations team.
Position Overview:
The Procurement & Inventory Allocation Specialist is responsible for purchasing, inventory management, and allocation of stock to meet customer demand. This role requires strong organizational skills, supplier coordination, and the ability to balance supply chain efficiency with customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
o
Manage procurement of batteries, chargers, parts, and related components from suppliers.
o
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock across multiple locations.
o
Allocate products and resources efficiently to support sales and service teams.
o
Track orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize backorders.
o
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and lead times.
o
Analyze demand trends and provide accurate forecasting to support business growth.
o
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/CRM systems.
o
Collaborate with sales, service, and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
o
Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
o
2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (industrial or manufacturing sector preferred).
o
Strong computer skills, including ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required).
o
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
o
Strong communication and negotiation skills when working with suppliers and internal teams.
o
Knowledge of batteries, power systems, or industrial equipment is an asset.
o
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
