You\'re joining an innovative, agile, 200+ employee company with international reach, with plants in St-Jerome (QC) & Shanghai (China) and still growing after 50 years. The procurement team is currently looking for an intern for the autumn of 2023. You will be joining a tightly knit team that is constantly in solution mode and running on innovative ideas. Here, every day is different and presents new challenges. This internship offer is for the autumn 2023 session, with the possibility of an extension, and who knows, maybe a position afterwards!WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH YOUR TIME
Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, the intern will participate in various projects in this sector and work with our team of 6 buyers. Specifically, during your internship you will be required to:- Participate in the implementation of a customs tariff management process
- Participate in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes
- Participate in inventory management projects
- Any other project related to the purchasing department
WHAT YOU\'VE GOT
- BAC in GOP, AEC in logistics or any relevant DEC
- Knowledge of the Office 365 Suite
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills
- Desire to learn and develop your current knowledge
