Procurement, Insurance and Development Finance Analyst
The City of Orillia is less than 90 minutes from the Greater Toronto Area. The City of Orillia is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Procurement, Insurance and Development Finance Analyst.
Reporting to the Manager of Procurement, Insurance and Development Finance, the Procurement, Insurance and Development Finance Analyst is responsible for assisting in facilitating and executing all activities related to procurement, insurance, and development finance. This position, through strong teamwork, collaboration and analysis is fundamental in supporting the City in achieving related goals, strategy and ensuring legislative compliance.
Candidates must possess a two-year post-secondary diploma in a related field and a minimum of two years of related work experience. Municipal government experience is an asset. The position requires proficiency in MS Office applications, purchasing systems and exposure to Great Plains accounting software is an asset. A general understanding of financial planning and basic accounting principles would be beneficial.
The City of Orillia offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and registration with the OMERS pension plan. The salary for this position is $68,087 to $79,692 based on a 35-hour work week.
