The Edward Hotel is a low-barrier 300 bed service for men, women and couples. The service includes meals and a safe space to build social connections. Clients will receive enhanced case management and housing support services combined with a connection and/or referral to appropriate services within the community. The Edward Hotel has several community partners to support the work and enhance the client experience. The position requires respect for, and expertise working with people who face barriers to service due to mental health, substance use, abuse, social isolation, immigration, unemployment/underemployment and history with the criminal justice system. The clients come from racially, culturally, and ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Working as part of the 24-Hour Services Department, the position of Procurement Coordinator is to oversee and manage the procurement process for the 24-Hour Services Department. This includes identifying and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. They also maintain accurate records of purchases, monitor and maintain inventory levels, and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with purchasing software is usually required for this position. The ultimate goal of the Procurement Coordinator is to ensure that the department obtains quality goods and services while maintaining fiscal responsibility and accountability. The position requires commitment and adherence to the values and goals of Fred Victor as expressed in the mission and strategic plan of the organization.
What You Will Do:
Develop and implement efficient procurement strategies for the department
Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies
Review and manage inventory levels to maintain supply chain fluidity
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with each site to ensure clarity of purchasing, agreements and expectations
Ensure compliance with company policies.
Monitors purchase order receipts, returns, and corrections.
Supports 24-HR Services management with all invoicing, resolving any invoice/purchase order issues.
Maintains good working relationships with outside parties (primarily suppliers) to resolve problems such as missing shipments, replacement of damaged goods, invoice issues.
Provides a customer-focused approach to purchasing administration.
Develops and maintains monthly reporting to the Director and Associate Director to ensure all open purchase orders are kept up to date.
Tracks credit card reconciliation to meet deadlines for reconciliations.
Assist in the monitoring that procurement of services is inline with the budget.
Supports any procurement needs with new or developing programs.
Analyses invoicing from Agency staffing for accuracy.
Will maintain and manage the Property Management Acori system.
Any other related administrative activities as directed by Director/Associate Director.
What You Bring to the Team:
A minimum of three years experience working in procurement.
A university degree or college diploma, preferably graduate, in a relevant area. Knowledge and expertise accrued through experience, if demonstrated, would be considered.
Well-developed ability to prioritize work through short-term and long-term goals and remain flexible in reaching those goals.
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Proven ability to constructively give and receive feedback.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
An understanding of and commitment to social justice issues, equity issues, anti-racism and anti-discrimination practices.

Compensation and Benefits:
For the Procurement Coordinator, Fred Victor offers a salary range of $55,926- $61,756.50.
4 weeks of vacation to start + 1 float day.
