Job Description

Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 8 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Procurement, the Procurement Coordinator will be a result\xe2\x80\x99s driven, self-starting individual who thrives on analytics and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting, freight and logistics coordination as well as category management of farm supplies, packaging, seed and promotional items.

Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A self-starter who demonstrates initiative for continuous improvement

• Post-secondary education in Business is preferred
• 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or a similar fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel
• High attention to detail
• Excellent time management, organization, and communications skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Experience building and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key responsibilities:

• Category management of Farm Supplies, Packaging, Seed and Promotional Items.
• Analyze, review and forecast inventories and future needs
• Investigate vendor discrepancies and seek resolution where necessary
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and thorough communication
• Analyze spend data and cost trends to identify opportunities
• Monitor and ensure appropriate site inventory levels
• Coordinate daily intercompany transfers
• Freight and logistics coordination
• Internal reporting and data communication with suppliers

Salary range 50-55K per year
