The role of the Procurement Analyst is to support the Procurement Services team with Procurement events and support the oversight of the Vendor Governance framework.
We believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members. Our flexible hybrid work guideline requires teams to come to the office a minimum of 3+ days per week.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Champion and act as point of contact for IT procurement activities and Purchase Orders (POs) including contract execution, renewals, process oversight, and day-to-day operations
Liaison with accounts payable to rectify vendor issues pertaining to invoicing/POs
Manage all purchase requests received from the business including receiving approved procurement requests from business, obtaining vendor quotes and subsequently facilitating the evaluation and approval for a winning quote, creating PO\xe2\x80\x99s, placing orders
Provide analytical and operational support for complex sourcing activities (Vendor Due Diligence, NDA\xe2\x80\x99s, preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, collating assessment results, etc.)
Lead sourcing activities for non-complex purchases (i.e. purchases less than $100,000 and contract renewals) in accordance with the Procurement policy and guidelines
Maintain the deal checklist and IT contracting reporting
Perform miscellaneous administration tasks and analytics to support our Procurement mandates
Gather data points to generate the Procurements Services KPIs or business requested reports
Execute various vendor due-diligence processes to identify potential risk to the organization using ProcessUnity, Worldcheck and other methods
Analyze financial vendor data to identify non-compliant vendors to Vendor Governance policy
Gather all data points to generate the Vendor Governance KPIs and KRIs
Responsible for overseeing vendor data and managing the vendor profile repository
Actively participate in the development of innovative projects to enhance Procurement operations
Develop operational playbooks for training and drive greater awareness
To succeed in this role, you have:
College or University diploma
2 years direct work experience in a purchasing or procurement capacity
Experience with procurement processes and frameworks
Knowledge of contracts is an asset
Experience with MS SharePoint
Excellent customer service skills
Proficiency in MS Office
High attention to detail
