What will you do?
Safely manufactures high-quality pharmaceutical products according to established schedules.
Responsibilities:

• Processes/manufacture products in accordance with written processing orders.
• Prepares manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products.
• Cleans processing equipment and rooms in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Provides assistance and training to Processing Technologist I.
• Effectively troubleshoots equipment they are trained on.
• Provides feedback and process improvement suggestions.
• Ensures product quality meets the standards of Patheon, our clients, and applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI), United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA), and European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
• Follows the required Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
• Performs alternating or rotating shift work

How will you get there?

Requirements

Education:

• A high school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of previous related experience in powder blending/granulation, tablet compression and/or coating, with exposure in the areas of dispensing, liquids/ semisolids and tablet printing manufacturing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent organizational, documentation and housekeeping skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Excellent understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Excellent understanding of safety standards.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office software applications.
• Proficiency with the English language.
