Processing Technician:

ABOUT US:

Whistler Therapeutics dba EarthWolf Farms- focuses on providing the legal Canadian Cannabis industry with high-quality, solventless cannabis extracts. Our Processing Technicians produce solventless extractions as per Health Canada Standards. We are currently looking to add another Processing Technician to join our team in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

: Process Technician

Salary: $25-$35/hr, depending on experience

Comprehensive health insurance and recreation/wellness allowance after 3 months

Vacation: 4%, moving to 6% after 1year

Schedule: Part Time & Full-time (40 hours), Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (flexibility afforded)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with Processing Manager in ensuring that daily processing activities take place in an appropriate time frame Sanitize processing rooms, tools, and equipment Ensure processing tools are clean and sanitized prior to use and after Process cannabis material using a variety of equipment for various product lines Fill out batch records and other inventory records in a clear and legible manner Correctly weigh, sort, and organize bulk processed inventories Update inventory sheets daily Follow set standard operating procedures and ensure that good production practices are consistently being followed Work with Quality Assurance and other members of the quality control team to ensure standard procedures are being followed by all team members Critically analyze processes to identify areas for improvement and work with management to implement positive change Follow all security protocols Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma or relevant work experience is considered a strong asset 1-2 years in manufacturing/packaging experience with a strong focus on consumer safety, satisfaction, and high-quality production considered a strong asset Strong work ethic Excellent attention to detail Excellent interpersonal, reporting, written, and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, responsive, hardworking, organized, and professional individual Solventless Concentrate/Cannabis Experience is a strong asset Ability to take direction well, learn new tasks, and show resiliency Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (weighing, sorting, inventory) Physical Requirements: Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs (while using safe practices)
