If you have a Mechanical or Scientific background, are detail oriented, a team player, committed to Health & Safety and willing/able to work 12-hour shifts (including nights & weekends), you may be interested in our Process Operator Position Process Operator This is a twelve-hour continental swing shift based on 84 hours worked in each two week pay period with every other weekend off. Joining the existing production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the various production processes at our facility. Responsibilities / Expectations

• Safely & efficiently operate the production process within a team setting
• Monitor & maintain the various utilities systems within our facility
• Actively participate in continuous process improvement opportunities
• Follow all plant policies & procedures
• Complete process checklists and report any deviations to management
• Complete detailed root cause/corrective action reports

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Production or process experience in a chemical plant or similar production facility
• Possess a Trades, Technology, environmental or laboratory related diploma

Skills listed below would be an asset

• Experience with a Distributed Control System (DCS)
• Competent in reading & understanding policies, documents & drawings
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to follow & understand process flow
• Good troubleshooting skills and a natural attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
