As a Process Team Lead you will provide leadership and engineering support to the Engineering Services Process Group Lead, assisting them with managing teams of process engineers and interfacing with peers, partners, and stakeholders to support the successful planning and execution of our work, and building and sustaining our capabilities. Direct, review and approve their work and deliverables.Your Skills:Proficient on brownfield capital projects. Comfortable and competent in the field as well as the office.Strong Technical Report Writing and Presentation / communication skills.Ability to provide direction, constructive criticism, and thorough checking.Organized, and able to assign and direct process engineering activities on multiple projects being developed in parallel, while retaining focus on project cost and schedule commitments, cross-discipline dependencies, field requirements, relevant codes and standards, and stakeholder requirements.Very strong at working collaboratively with others both in own team and cross-functional teams.Able to communicate disagreements in design and constructively influence required changes across engineering disciplines.Excellent understanding of oil refinery operations and associated economic drivers.The work will require periodic visits to our operating facilities. You must be able to work in the field, including working in year-round weather conditions, able to bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, etc. and able to lift up to 20lbs. You must be comfortable with high elevation climbing, working at heights, and in enclosed spaces. You must be able to wear full PPE as required by safety standards.Your Experience:University degree in Chemical Engineering with P.Eng. designation (or immediate eligibility) in New Brunswick is required.Minimum of 15 years of experience in process design in chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas plants. Brownfield oil and gas experience, particularly in refining or terminals, is a strong asset.Strong understanding of applicable regulatory and industry codes, e.g. ASME, API, NFPA, CSA.Proficiency with Process Hazard/Risk Assessment methods including What-If, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA is essential.Proficiency with the following process engineering software tools \xe2\x80\x93 Aspen HYSYS, EDR or HTRI, AFT Fathom / Arrow.
