Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Process Engineer Specialist will work closely with engineers from other disciplines within the company to design, implement and sustain the production processes. This will be a hands-on role, focusing on generating and documenting specialized assembly processes, creating machine programs (wire bonding, die bonding, wafer dicing), performing risk assessment and reliability investigations, and leading the process implementation into production. Other responsibilities, but not limited to :

• Identifying and evaluating new processes and equipment;
• Documenting and presenting data and findings during the product introduction cycle;
• Working with designers to resolve any issues discovered during initial builds.
• Supporting the training of resources within Manufacturing to assemble new products.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years experience in a high technology manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge of semiconductor and/or electronics manufacturing methods and practices;
• The ability to create clear and concise technical documentation;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• The ability to collaborate well as a member of a multidisciplinary team;
• Experience with statistics and data analysis;
• Strong knowledge of electronics assembly equipment and related machine programming ability;
• Experience with specialized assembly of intricate mechanical, optical, or semiconductor devices;
• Ability to solve process and product related problems using a structured approach.
