Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficiency of production systems. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for continuous improvement in industrial environments.

Duties

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment, including blowmoulders, fillers (Fogg/KHS), labelers, wrappers, and auxiliary systems. Identify, analyze, and resolve equipment issues (e.g., sensor alignment, air conveyor systems, pressure drops, cap handling). Work closely with vendors and OEMs to resolve recurring technical problems and implement long-term solutions. Support process optimization initiatives, including recirculation lines, CIP (Clean-In-Place) activities, and system passivation. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new production equipment as part of the Phase 2 project. Develop and maintain SOPs for production operations, troubleshooting, and annual maintenance activities. Collaborate with engineering teams to review layouts, P&IDs, and system modifications. Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and quality standards.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in food & beverage or CPG manufacturing. Hands-on experience with fillers, blowmoulders, labelers, wrappers, and CIP systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve mechanical/electrical/process issues. Knowledge of P&ID review, process design, and production line integration is an asset. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to be hands-on and support daily operations.
