Process Engineer who can enhance operational efficiency, strengthen production workflows, and contribute to a modern and progressive manufacturing culture.

Your Impact



The

Process Engineer plays a key role in improving operations through data driven analysis, smart process design, and continuous improvement. This role works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Leadership to standardize workflows, reduce waste, improve throughput, and support a safe and efficient plant environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, process optimization, and making meaningful improvements that support both the team and the customer experience.

Primary Areas of Influence



1. Process Analysis & Optimization



Map, analyze, and evaluate production workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste. Develop and implement improvements using Lean, Sis Sigma, and continuous improvement principles. Standardize work methods, documentation, and workflows for consistent and scalable operations. Collaborate with production leads to improve workstation design, material flow, and plant layout.

2. Production & Performance Improvement



Monitor KPIs including throughput, yield, labour efficiency, and downtime. Lead root cause investigations and guide corrective actions. Support automation opportunities, equipment evaluations, and adoption of new technologies. Develop process control plans and ensure process consistency across shifts and product types.

3. Cross Functional Collaboration



Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve manufacturability and process capability. Work with scheduling, and ERP teams to strengthen data accuracy and planning flow. Support new product introductions and engineering changes by defining and validating production processes.

4. Documentation & Training



Create, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documents. Train production staff on standardized processes, safety procedures, and quality expectations. Promote continuous improvement and support a culture of accountability and problem solving.

5. Collaboration & Team Influence



Build strong working relationships with supervisors, leads, and production staff to support a positive and collaborative work environment. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging idea sharing and problem solving at all levels. Support team capability by helping develop clear processes, easy to follow work instructions, and practical training tools.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in process mapping, workflow analysis, and efficiency improvement. Proven experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.

Key Competencies



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills supported by data driven decision making. Experience with time studies, process mapping, workflow analysis, and efficiency improvement. Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems such as JobBOSS, Epicor, or SAP. Experience improving ERP workflows or participating in ERP implementations is an asset. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and support teams at all levels. Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, and EHS practices is an asset.

Production processes become more predictable, efficient, and repeatable. Waste, scrap, and rework decrease through improved process control and documentation. Teams are trained, supported, and confident in following standardized work. Automation and new technologies are evaluated and implemented effectively. Data integration within ERP and scheduling improves overall planning and workflow. Cross functional communication strengthens, and issues are resolved proactively. Safety, quality, and efficiency all show measurable improvements over time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
