Job Description

Minimum Requirements:



Education

: College Diploma in a related field. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).


Experience

:


2+ years' experience working in Production lines. 1+ years' experience working with and supervising unionized workforce and understanding of CBA (collective bargaining agreement) Ability to work independently with limited supervision.



Preferred Requirements:



Education

: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management & Information Systems, Applied Engineering Science, Packaging Engineering, or Business Management.


Experience

:


Experience in body shop, stamping, paint, subassembly, or machining preferred. Inventory and Logistics management experience preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook). Prior experience managing a unionized workforce. Adept problem-solving and conflict management skills. Effective organizational and administrative capabilities.

The primary responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to



Ensure inventory integrity and accuracy

across all plant locations, including bailments and consignments.

Coordinate comprehensive cycle counts

for all parts and commonality codes in the plant and at bailments/consignments twice yearly, ensuring adherence to schedule.

Manage the workload

of Cycle Analysts and hourly cycle checkers.

Verify the cycle count program

adheres to established standard requirements.

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

for inventory variances, including out-of-tolerance conditions, negative balances, and repeat issues, utilizing formal problem-solving tools and integrating plant floor data.

Collaborate with production teams

to improve cycle count accuracy by gathering information and identifying unknown nuances. *

Prepare and present weekly cycle count

results for review and sign-off at the Inventory/Cycles Meeting.
