Location: Work is what you do, not where you go. For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in Canada or the United States.
About the opportunity:
The Process Architect will lead large cross-functional process transformations on Business Technology programs and features. These programs and features are focused on making Ceridian easier to do business with, more consistent and predictable. Working with our business stakeholders will be key to ensure all Ceridian processes within Sales, Support, Services and Marketing technology are successful the first time around and maintain best in-class data practices.
What you'll get to do:
  • Develop cross-functional process gap analysis and the respective recommendations to Product Leaders on change plans for their given Epics and Features
  • Identify process scope across cross-functional teams and influence decisions makers to set start to finish bounds
  • Leverage industry recognized improvement, design & data mining competencies, where necessary, to ensure our product backlog priorities are completed successfully
  • Review existing processes and capability models' inventory to determine how to create best in-class experiences for our sales teams
  • Advocate for design thinking practices and building solutions with users not for them
  • Effectively plan and execute process discovery sessions to elucidate necessary information from different levels in an organization
  • Asses and truly understand current state process models from information culled in discovery sessions
  • Conduct design thinking sessions and understand how users are feeling along the way and what their experiences are
  • Identify and collect data to derive process measures aligned to business strategic intent, aligned with corporate strategy
  • As necessary, have discussions with corporate strategy to influence KPIs
  • Benchmark measures against external and/or baseline internal data
  • Establish decision criteria and assessment for recommendations
  • Design reporting scorecards that illustrate how we measure success in meaningful ways
  • Create improved future state model and detail an iterative implementation framework that aligns with agile delivery
  • Employ predictive analytics (time series, simulation, pattern recognition) to forecast future process outcomes

Skills and experience we value
  • Engineering Degree or certification in Lean, Six Sigma
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Enterprise value stream mapping (using Visio, or other industry recognized tools).
  • Process modeling using BPMN
  • Experience with solutions and deployment that involve platforms that are key to successfully enabling our Sales and Operations organizations
  • Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite, Dayforce or other HCM experience
  • A minimum 5 years of experience managing a team of professionals.
  • A minimum 8 years of process industry experience.

  • 2-5 years of hands-on Dayforce or relevant HCM experience within functional area(s).
