Job Description


Overview: As the Business Process Architect, you will facilitate process change and recommendations to enable business transformation. You will leverage methodologies and tools from BPM CoE, and support business process management through the analysis and design of end-to-end business processes and workflows to maximize efficiency, maintain high levels of customer experience, understand, and mitigate business risks and issues, and comply with regulatory requirements.
You will leverage business architecture, enterprise architecture and the Business Process Management tool, using a systematic approach to optimize business processes. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Business Process Management team, the Digital and Transformation team, the program director and project teams, business units, Information Technology staff, and external vendors.
  • Lead, engage, and participate in project working groups and committees as required.
  • Administer the MPI Process Framework, ensuring standards are applied consistently to process solutions.
  • Develop and maintain process models and frameworks based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Value Streams to ensure there is a connection/flow among processes.
  • Responsible for mapping cross-functional end-to-end business processes and architecture using industry standard tools and methodologies, including Lean, process centred design, business process modelling, etc.
  • Lead and facilitate Value Stream Mapping workshops, including the onboarding of Area of Focus (AOF) leaders and Process Leaders (frontline staff).
  • Create and maintain process frameworks and define key end-to-end value chains focusing on customer value, reducing waste, and increasing efficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in Lean an asset.
  • Certificate in Project Management is an asset.
  • Certificate in SAFE is an asset.
  • Five years related experience in business process management, including process mapping, design, and improvement.
  • Experience leading or supporting business process transformation an asset.
  • Experience applying Lean concepts and Value Stream an asset.
  • Experience in an Agile workplace environment as asset.
  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to various audiences.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within the business.
