PRM POSITION OVERVIEW:

The

PRM Agent

reports to the Operations Manager and plays a critical role in assisting our airline customers and their passengers in various stages of their airport journey. As a PRM Agent you will provide excellent customer service to passengers who need special assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Assist embarking/disembarking PRMs to and from aircraft through check-in or Baggage. Assist embarking/disembarking PRMs to and from connecting flights. Implement all security and safety instructions, as per internal and external (regulation, airlines) requirements Use the required PPE (appropriate to the operation) Inspect and verify that all PRM equipment is clean/tidy and serviceable. Ensure passengers with reduced mobility are receiving the required attention and service according to SAMSIC and the airline's standards and procedures. Ensure all PRMs are transported from the check-in area to their respective flight in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure all PRMs are transported from the aircraft to the arrival hall in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure all PRMs with a connecting flight are transported safely and on time to catch their flights. Adhering to SOPs when moving PRMs inside the aircraft on an aisle chair. Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements and Samsic SOPs and policies. Retain all required, work-related documentation when required. Report incidents and other events/findings in relation to security and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Customer Service Skills:

Excellent customer service skills with a positive, compassionate approach to assisting passengers.

Physical Stamina and Strength:

Able to lift up to 50lbs and push wheelchairs with weights up to 250lbs. Must be comfortable working on foot for extended periods and maneuvering equipment through various airport areas.

Safety Awareness:

Understanding of, or ability to learn, airport safety and security procedures, including safe transfer techniques and emergency response protocols.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with dispatch software, mobile devices, and related technology for assignment tracking and communication.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally and clearly with passengers, team members, and airport staff.

Adaptability and Resilience:

Ability to handle high-stress situations and respond calmly to changes in schedules or operational needs.

Punctuality and Reliability:

Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role. Must be available for flexible schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

Willingness to work collaboratively with others, supporting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Pay: $18.19 per hour
