Job Tittle: Privileged Access Operations Support Engineer
Location: Montreal ( Office attendance from day 1 - Hybrid Mode 3x per week)

Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Privileged Access Fleet as a Level 3 Operations Support Engineer. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for designing and supporting highly scalable and comprehensive Privileged Access Management solutions. Working collaboratively with the development team in an Agile structure, the individual will be expected to provide input and advice related to global application architecture and, additionally, will be responsible for ensuring the production environment is stable. The ideal candidate would be an accomplished troubleshooter with a mix of strong infrastructure knowledge and application deployment methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Privileged Access Operations Team to support critical applications that cover Privilege Access.
  • Design and support solutions which can range from industry-standard to homegrown applications and tooling.
  • Provide Level 3 support and serve as a subject matter expert for various critical Privileged Access systems for ***.
  • Participate on calls with internal users, team members, and external clients or vendors.
  • Create supporting documentation related to Privileged Access operations, delegating to outsourced L1/2 teams as required.
  • Develop tooling with Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting languages, as required for use by the support team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve stability, time to recovery, and supportability though automation and process optimization.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of at least one scripting language such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience working with Privileged Access management solutions is preferable.
  • Experience developing and documenting processes and workflows.
  • Experience/knowledge of SRE methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of core ITIL disciplines including release, change and configuration management.
  • An automation/orchestration mind-set, enabling the product squads to spend more time coding and less time on manual processes.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary technologies in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Technology security experience is necessary as this is role is in a Security team.
  • Azure knowledge would be a bonus.
  • CISSP or similar certification is preferred, but optional.
Soft Skills
  • Active interest in cybersecurity.
  • Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills: capable of writing comprehensive documentation, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with senior management, colleagues and customers.
  • Comfortable working in an operations and support team with end user interaction and periodic on-call responsibilities.
  • The candidate must be a self-starter but must recognize the importance and value of working as a member of an operations support team.
