Queen Elizabeth Academy is a Ministry of Education accredited school. With over 300+ students per year and a team of 40+ tutors and staff, QEA provides high quality education to our students. Many of our students enter top universities with scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $40,000.

This position is remote over zoom.

QEA is currently hiring part time tutors in math.

This position involves tutoring one of our math 11 / 12 or physics 11 / 12 subjects. We provide a fixed working schedule for our tutors with stable income. This position runs 8-10 hours a week over a fixed schedule.

You can also gain credible and transferable experience on your resume (Since we are a private school with Ministry accreditation). Each year, many of our tutors progress to the next stage of their careers, using our school name as reference.

We welcome talented and high achieving students who possess outstanding communication skills and passionate in the area of their study.

Qualifications required:

GPA 3.5+, with major in Math, upper year or graduate students preferred. Pre-OCT or OCT new graduate will be an asset.

1+ years in tutoring experience or TA or practicum

Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
