We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for families. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Duties

Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety at all times Prepare and serve meals and snacks, including meal preparation tailored to dietary needs Engage children in educational activities, play, and age-appropriate teaching to promote learning and development Assist with bathing, dressing, and basic hygiene routines Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care, such as cleaning toys and children's areas Support children with special needs or disabilities as required Plan fun and stimulating activities that encourage creativity and social skills Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns

Skills

Experience working with children of various ages is highly preferred Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to cook simple meals and snacks suitable for children Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including safety protocols and child development principles Ability to work well with people with disabilities, demonstrating flexibility and understanding Excellent organizational skills for managing daily routines and activities Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare environments Teaching skills that foster learning through play and interaction

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
