Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a family in the Stony Plain area. This will be a unique position with the opportunity to travel in Canada, the USA and Europe. This position will involve living with the family while traveling and live out while in the Edmonton area.

Position Summary

As a nanny, you will provide attentive and nurturing care in the family's home/travel location, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and experienced in caring for children -- including infants.

In addition to childcare, the successful candidate will assist with housekeeping, cooking, dishes, laundry, and pet care. Driving is a bonus!

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, personalized childcare

Support children's daily routines, hygiene, and meals

Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines and updates

Assist with household tasks, including housekeeping, cooking, and laundry

Provide pet care as needed

Drive with children when requested

Assist with Homeschooling curriculum

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age

Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C

Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Valid passport for travel to the USA and Europe

Minimum 3 years of private nanny experience required

Valid driver's license considered an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organized, proactive, and able to follow directions

Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement

Able to provide recent childcare-related references

Hours of Work

Flexibility required. 30 to 40 hours per week. Some evening, weekend, overnight care required.

Wage

Competitive wage based on skills and ability.
