Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vinyl Printer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating industrial printing equipment and vinyl cutters, preparing files for production, and ensuring high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret work proofs to ensure accuracy. Schedule and manage printing tasks to meet deadlines. Prepare files and drawings for production. Operate large-format printers, including Roland, HP, and Epson. Use Graphtec cutters for precise vinyl cutting. Weed vinyl and trim large wall graphics. Laminate and apply print media onto various substrates. Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment. Monitor production schedules and ensure quality control. Handle and manage different substrates, including vinyl, fabric, and rigid materials. Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or GED. Graphic Designer or related field.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years in the sign industry experience. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Suite. Experience with RIP software (e.g., Onyx, Caldera) for print production. Familiarity with advanced color management techniques.

Skills

Strong understanding of print production processes and color management. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate Inkjet Film Setter, Vinyl Cutter, and print equipment. Experience with vinyl graphics application (Glass, Walls, Floors, plastic, acrylic, trucks). Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to meet production deadlines efficiently.
