A Role to Help Us Shape Our Future



We are looking for a Print Production Specialist to join our team. You'll be a key part of the team responsible for preparing the production graphic files and printing to final output.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, hands-on experience with printing equipment, strong attention to detail, can work independently and be self-directed as well as work as part of a team.

On any given day you'll be doing one or a combination of these things:



Prepare graphic files for printing, UV inkjet, sublimation, digital printing, and engraving. Print paper and plastic products on digital printers. Prepare variable data name list files in excel for import. Operate and maintain print equipment including printers, cutters and laser engravers. Manage print schedules and production timelines to ensure job accuracy and efficiency. Inspect printed materials for quality control, color accuracy, finishing, and color correction in the manufacturing process when needed. Help maintain a clean and well-organized manufacturing environment, assist with recycling. Create customized software templates and customer samples. Maintain inventory of printing consumables. Fallow all safety and quality standards in the print environment. Participate in continuous improvement processes to reduce waste and improve productivity. Assist in other areas of the operations department as capacity requires taping, assembling name badges, jig loading etc.

You Possess:



High school diploma / related post-secondary education 2 - 5 years of Graphic design experience in print production or digital printing. Proficient with Coral Draw and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with RIP Software and color calibration tools along with color management. Ability to communicate well (written and oral) in English is required. Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel & Outlook High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and strong organizational skills. Ability to lift, up to 30lbs and work in a standing position as needed.

Key Performance Criteria:



On time completion of Production orders 100% Scrap Ratio - (< 5%) Error Rate - (<1%) Number of Days Safety incident free. No time lost. Number of Lean Improvements Identified.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
