Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Print Production Manager

with a strong background in the

flexible packaging industry

to oversee and coordinate the entire production process. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical knowledge, and communication skills to manage a team spanning

graphics, printing, converting, and shipping

. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth workflow, efficient production scheduling, high-quality output, and the best customer experience possible.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead the production team across all departments:

graphics, digital/press printing, lamination, slitting, pouch converting, and shipping.

Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure projects are completed

on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Serve as the

main link between departments

, ensuring clear communication and a continuous, efficient production flow. Monitor production schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to avoid delays. Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and graphics teams to ensure accurate job specifications and smooth handoffs. Implement and maintain

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

for consistency, efficiency, and quality control. Track production metrics and performance KPIs; identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization. Manage inventory of materials, inks, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production. Enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and industry standards. Mentor, train, and develop team members to build a strong, collaborative production culture.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience

in print production management within the

flexible packaging industry

(digital, flexographic, or gravure printing preferred). Strong understanding of

printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch converting

processes. Proven ability to manage

cross-functional teams

and production workflows. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience with production scheduling software or ERP/MRP systems. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement practices is an asset.

Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
