The Role

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Lumen's software solutions. This role involves high-level strategic vision, ensuring that software solutions are delivered within given timelines and meet the highest standards of quality.

The Main Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Work closely with end users and team members to lead the development of software solutions, often involving complex and significant enhancements to existing software. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the end-to-end automation process and concepts, driving efficiency and innovation. Experiment with new technologies and drive the growth of new technology platforms, ensuring solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, Masters degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering roles. Proven experience in senior software engineering roles, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Expertise in software design, development, testing, and maintenance. Strong understanding of automation processes and concepts. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
