An opportunity exists for a dynamic, caring, and dedicated leader in the role of Principal at Medicine Hat High School (MHHS). This educational leader will value: a student-centered paradigm, a strong focus on continual learning, improvement and growth, formative and outcomes-based assessment practices to improve student learning, High School Redesign philosophy/practice, and will also be a true team player who values collaboration. A strong focus on students and their achievement, along with a passion for excellence, are traits this leader will need to demonstrate. This individual must have a strong instructional leadership background with an understanding of current and future educational practices. The successful candidate must be aligned with the values and vision of Medicine Hat High School and Medicine Hat School Public School Division.


Medicine Hat High School has a total student population of approximately 1250 students and is located in the Southwest Hill area. Medicine Hat High School provides students with a sound academic program in a safe and caring environment.
