The primary role is to drive revenue and gross margin contribution through Microsoft services, for a wide variety of customer scenarios. Working within the Microsoft Consulting Practice, the Principal Consultant will evangelize, position and architect Microsoft solutions with customers through a variety of consultative selling techniques. The position is responsible for accurately capturing customer vision and requirements in support of solution architecture, scoping and Statement of Work (SoW) authoring. Key performance metrics include Practice revenue, gross margin and customer satisfaction objectives. Reporting to the Modern Workspace National Director, this role has a small billable consulting responsibility but primarily focuses on Pre-Sales, Solution Development and related activities supporting the Practice's objectives - this will include but not limited to: customer discovery/requirements capture meetings, technology & solution concept presentations, customer immersion workshops, proposal and SoW authoring inclusive of pricing, schedule and resource planning.
