Job Description
Role Summary:
The Principal will lead investment activities for one of SRS's target asset classes (industrial/multifamily/retail), overseeing the full investment lifecycle from sourcing to disposition while managing a team of investment professionals.
Core Responsibilities:
Investment Sourcing & Execution
Identify and underwrite 25M?25M*?150M acquisition opportunities
Lead negotiations with sellers, brokers, and capital partners Oversee due diligence processes and closing transactions
Portfolio Management
Develop and execute value creation plans for assets Monitor property performance against underwriting Coordinate with operations team to implement leasing/repositioning strategies
Capital Markets
Structure joint ventures and debt financing Prepare investment memoranda for capital partners Participate in investor relations activities
Team Leadership
Mentor associates and analysts Collaborate with other department heads Contribute to firm-wide strategy
Candidate Requirements:
10+ years of direct real estate investing experience Demonstrated track record in target asset class Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, Argus, Excel) Established broker and capital relationships MBA or CFA preferred but not required
