  • Ensure all staff on the floor are meeting and exceeding Rimrock standards of guest satisfaction and service
  • Provide leadership, problem solving and decision making in all areas
  • Provide ongoing training, motivating, and mentoring of staff
  • Achieve and/or exceed sales projections
  • Monitor cost of outlets within approved budget
  • Creation of schedule within payroll budget
  • Conduct employee performance reviews
  • Provide discipline when necessary and complete required documentation
  • Interview/ Hiring new employees
  • Handle guest requests and complaints and authorize compensation when necessary
  • Maintain and establish relations with internal and external suppliers and representatives
  • POS upkeep and programming
  • Attend weekly department Manager meetings
  • Menu and function planning
  • Provide floor support when business levels require including expediting food, preparing and serving beverages, conducting quality checks etc.
  • Actively contribute to a positive and motivating work place
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of restaurant leadership experience
  • Extensive knowledge in a variety of liquor and wines
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality/Tourism is an asset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent in Micros POS and Open Table software
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to remain composed while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solving skills
