Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate primary teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction and support. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage with students in a positive and encouraging manner. The Tutor will work with children in various subjects, fostering a love for learning and promoting educational growth.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop customized learning plans. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding progress and areas for improvement. Educate students using diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Create a supportive and motivating environment that encourages student participation. Assist with homework assignments, projects, and exam preparation. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and engage students. Ability to create lesson plans that are both educational and enjoyable. Familiarity with classroom settings and educational standards is a plus. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed. A degree in education or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
