Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)
We have an immediate need for an Industrial PCP registered with Alberta AND Saskatchewan to join our team!.
A day in the life of a primary care paramedic requires courage and compassion; facing diverse and interesting situations where you directly affect people?s lives by your actions.
Location of Project: Approx. 1 hour outside of Lloydminster.
Duration of Projects: Approximately 3 months.
Primary Duties:
- Ensure that injured workers are provided with immediate and professional on-site medical care within their scope of practice, and to advise and/or arrange timely transport to additional medical care as needed
- Read, understand, and comply with HSE Integrated safety and medical services policies, Workplace Scope of Practice Guidelines, Medical Control Guidelines, as well as all applicable government laws and regulations.
- Work within the PCP scope of practice determined by the applicable licensing body, utilizing the HSE medical control guidelines
- Report to and take direction from the Station Manager for the district in which he/she is working
- Other duties will be assigned as necessary
