About the Position
We are seeking engaging, knowledgeable, and motivated
Demonstrators
to support the hands-on laboratory and simulation components of our Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Program.
This role is ideal for experienced paramedics or healthcare professionals who are passionate about skills development, mentorship, and fostering clinical excellence. As a Demonstrator, you will guide students through essential paramedic procedures, support safe and effective learning, and reinforce program competencies aligned with provincial standards.

What You'll Do
Lead & Support Hands-On Learning
Prepare, set up, and deliver laboratory instruction according to curriculum requirements.
Demonstrate key paramedic skills and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and program competencies.
Coach & Mentor Future Paramedics
Supervise students during lab and simulation activities, ensuring safety, professionalism, and skill accuracy.
Provide individual and group guidance to help students build clinical proficiency and confidence.
Collaborate & Maintain Professional Standards
Work closely with faculty to ensure lab instruction complements theoretical and clinical learning objectives.
Ensure all lab environments, equipment, and materials are organized, safe, and operational.
What You'll Bring
Current Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) license in Newfoundland and Labrador
Minimum 2 years of clinical field experience as a PCP
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification
Experience teaching, precepting, or mentoring students (an asset)
Familiarity with simulation-based learning, safety protocols, and clinical lab environments (preferred)
Ability to model professionalism, safety, and clinical accuracy in all demonstrations
