Topa is looking for motivated candidate to join our team as a primary care paramedic in Colonsay! The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the Topa team to supervise and maintain a safe work environment.





Position Title: Primary Care Paramedic



Locations: Colonsay Mine Sites



Start Date: Immediate



Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired





Responsibilities:


• Provide medical care as necessary
• Client management / patient care
• Security services as needed
• Administration duties
• Assessing each patient's condition and deciding course of action
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Other duties as assigned


Requirements:


• Must have valid class 5 drivers license
• Be in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
• Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform as a paramedic
• PCP certification
• EMR's accepted
• Up to date First Aid Certificates
• Certificated in drug and alcohol testing (CSC + BAT) or willing to train

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights)
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required
