Scope: The Pricing Specialist will act as the primary contact for information for assigned leads and accounts and the ability to delegate to the sales team. Work with the sales team to research and identify new market opportunities. You will be responsible for increasing sales and new business opportunities. The role will include ongoing analysis and pricing of labour, material cost along with time costs using past project analytics, benchmarking and quoting data. What We Offer An attractive pay package Family like atmosphere On-site parking Extended Health and Dental Benefits Paid time off What You Bring Experience pricing up to 13 axle configuration throughout Canada and the US is required Responsible for pricing all incoming bids and providing analysis support to increase and improve cost model Review market trends to assist with lane level margin strategies and prepare final pricing proposals to internal and external customers. Support improved carrier relationships, optimize transportation network, and enable \xe2\x80\x9csingle sourcing\xe2\x80\x9d to customer base. Establish price for new services or enhancements to existing services. Provide performance analysis of pricing initiatives at the service and account level. Perform financial analysis for specific customer opportunities Develop and manage the departments budgets, ensures compliance and addresses variances and budget concerns. Review options based on routes and recommend best solutions based on cost competitiveness Experience 3 years required Transportation and financial/data analytics experience with demonstrated leadership 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience, including directing the work of others in a supervisory capacity All applicants will adhere to a criminal record search.
