Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operator to join our manufacturing team. Duties



Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming tools. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD/CAM files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality control standards throughout production. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line operations. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly, fabrication, or repair tasks as needed. Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, inspections, and quality checks. Support packaging operations ensuring products are prepared according to specifications for shipment or storage. Follow factory safety procedures diligently and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing workflows.

Requirements



Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines or similar equipment within a manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, CAD files, GD&T specifications, and utilize CAM programming tools. Familiarity with CNC programming (Fanuc controls preferred) and troubleshooting machine issues efficiently. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers accurately. Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and quality control checks. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining (CNC milling/lathe), welding, stamping presses, tooling setup, and assembly line operations. Hands-on experience with hand tools and fabrication techniques required for assembly or repairs. Strong understanding of quality control standards and blueprint reading skills essential for maintaining product specifications. Factory or warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with packaging procedures is advantageous. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
