Overview

We are hiring a dedicated and dependable Press Feeder to join our team, collaborating with press operators on our two Komori presses (a 6-colour 40" GLX and an 8-colour 40" GL). In this position, you will be responsible for loading paper into the presses, supporting the operators throughout production, and ensuring a seamless and efficient press operation. Your attention to detail and teamwork will be essential for maintaining the highest standards in our production process.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor paper supplies during production to ensure uninterrupted workflow. - Support the press operator in setup and efficient operation of the press. - Load paper into the press according to job specifications and instructions from the press operator. - Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of feeder equipment. - Inspect paper for defects and verify that quality standards are met prior to feeding. - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a tidy, organized work environment. - Communicate clearly with operators and team members to promote an efficient production process.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in manufacturing or the printing industry is preferred.

- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well within a team.
