MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Technical Service Director and in close collaboration with the Product Specialist,the Electromechanical Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, and troubleshooting our new line of press brake machine tools.

The technician performs accurate diagnostics, adjustments, preventive maintenance, training, and provides recommendations to our clients--particularly to their machine operators. This position requires frequent travel directly at customer sites.

Carry out all manufacturing steps in the plant, in compliance with established procedures Install new equipment at customer facilities Perform preventive maintenance on machines Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites Adjust and operate machines according to production requirements Provide training to equipment operators Complete and submit service reports and all required administrative forms for purchases, payroll, reimbursements, etc. Perform any other related duties as assigned

SKILLS

Diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics or equivalent experience Experience as a press brake operator/setter (an asset) Experience programming and operating a Delem controller (an asset) Experience in industrial maintenance or equipment installation (an asset) Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Valid driver's license Valid passport
