They supervise technical employees and are accountable for the team's results within the Commissioning discipline. The Preservation Coordinator adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Their decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, as well as guidance from Management.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage commissioning technicians in the EPCI industry to ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards
Conduct technical reviews, oversee commissioning, testing, and inspection activities, and troubleshoot equipment or system malfunctions
Coordinate with stakeholders including engineering, procurement, and construction teams, to plan and execute commissioning activities safely, effectively and efficiently
Develop commissioning procedures and documentation, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Provide technical support to the project team throughout the commissioning phase and assist with the delivery of final project handover
Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures
Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures
Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar field)
5+ years of demonstrated experience in commissioning supervision in the EPCI industry
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and procedures, including experience in managing commissioning work packs from initiation to handover
Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and codes applicable to commissioning activities
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
Proficient in software suites such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and commissioning management software tools
Position is available for both Vancouver and Squamish locations.
