Prescribing Pharmacist
Salary: $160,000 per year
Full-Time Position
red Road Indigenous Health Services is hiring a full-time Prescribing Pharmacist to support our on-site, virtual, and community-based medical services. This role supports clients with substance use, mental health, and general health needs.
Position Requirements
Must be fully registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Alberta Must hold prescribing authorization Strong working knowledge of medication-assisted treatment Preference will be given to candidates who have experience supporting individuals with substance use concerns
Role Responsibilities
Complete assessments and prescribe for minor conditions and ongoing medication needs Support substance use treatment including opioid, stimulant, and alcohol-related care Provide medication reviews, education, and follow-up Work closely with physicians, psychiatrists, and the clinical team Support NIHB, Veterans Affairs, and provincial programs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $160,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
