Position Overview
We are seeking a
licensed Pharmacist
to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically driven, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through exceptional pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately prepare, check, and dispense prescriptions.
Provide injections and immunizations within ACP scope.
Offer evidence-based counselling on chronic disease management and preventive health.
Assess prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness and ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.
Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and technicians.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold privacy/confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the
Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
.
Injection authorization
and current
CPR/First Aid certification
.
Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) is an asset.
High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
