RESPONSIBILITIES
One of the primary responsibilities of the Preschool Teacher and Assistant Manager is to manage the operational aspects to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Operations Lead must be able to communicate their company's vision across all levels and possess excellent leadership skills.
Because the Assistant Manager is involved in day-to-day business functions, they coordinate and collaborate with various team members. They will report to the manager.
The Assistant Manager manages a diverse workforce in organizations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. They implement processes and programs, provide helpful services for customers, and oversee the center's maintenance, equipment and classrooms. The operations lead has to have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Overseeing center & Maintenance: The Assistant Manager's responsibilities may involve keeping buildings and equipment in good condition. This is crucial for the proper running of daily operations. For instance, in between class cleaning, ensure the equipment is securely fastened and attached for safety reasons; you can ensure the center's supply is up to date. The operations team leader might also oversee daily housekeeping and cleaning activities so that workers can work in an environment that meets the standards set by the company.

Play & Learn classes include age-appropriate play activities on our custom-designed play equipment, songs, parachute, and bubbles.
Music classes involve instrument activities, singing, dancing, and exploring various musical styles worldwide.
Arts classes offer hands-on, process-oriented activities, including painting, sculpting, collage making and dress-up time, and movement activities and songs that support different art themes explored.
Preschool Prep classes challenge children to embark on classroom experiences without parents aside by collaborating with peers.

Customer Service
Educate and advise new and existing customers on the value of Gymboree Play & Music, class offerings, birthday parties and special events.
Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, and greet and service customers.
Assist with off-site grassroots events (ex. Open House Events, Community Visits, Trade Show Events)
Operations
Work with our CRM system to register new customers and process payments.
Attend designated staff meetings and training.
Maintain site standards, including, but not limited to: cleaning, stocking and pricing of merchandise and helping with equipment set changes.
