One Hundred Worlds Preschool is looking for a passionate early childhood educator to fill a full time teaching position. We offer an innovative preschool program inspired by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy located in Airdrie, Alberta. Finding the right candidate who shares our vision is extremely important to us. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, creative, reflective, hard working, professional, proactive, and passionate about quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

Build responsive and respectful relationships with children and families Have strong open communication with program supervisor, staff, and parents Demonstrate leadership in the classroom and provide excellent supervision and interaction with children Plan developmentally appropriate learning experiences that meet children's developmental needs and align with the program philosophy Observe children's interests, needs, and abilities Document children's learning process by writing learning stories for families Maintain a clean and tidy classroom (Including regular cleaning, sanitizing and organizing teacher materials) Participation in staff meetings, professional development, and team building Participation for special events such as Winter Concert & Art Show and Graduation Have fun and learn alongside children through exploration, investigation, discovery, and creating wonder about the world around us!
Qualifications:

Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification

or a Bachelor's Degree

Clear and current criminal record check Current First Aid and CPR certification

Minimum 3 years experience teaching in a preschool classroom or early childhood environment

Experience and knowledge of an authentic emergent curriculum Experience in writing learning stories or documentation Experience with the Reggio Emilia philosophy is an asset

June 19th, 2026

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:15 pm (flexibility Monday and Friday afternoons) School closures follow the Rocky View School District

Compensation:

$20/hour plus government top-up
