What You'll Be Doing

Leading the team of 15-20 associates. Communicating with other departments about shortages and delays. Data entering of the work orders and associated tasks including the yield inputs. Conducting inventory and placing transfer orders and top ups. Training and coaching team members. Recommending systems and/or processes to help meet team's KPIs. Working with QA on ingredient quality checks and rejects. Maintaining an organization of the production. Have knowledge of setting up the prep area (including the autobagger machines, blixer) Maintaining FIFO. Assigning the tasks according to the work order. Flagging any potential delays to the Prep Supervisor. Ensuring the associates are wearing proper PPE (smock, hairnet, mask, etc). Ensuring the bins for each task have proper labeling. Ensuring the associates are using the correct bags and tools (AF x regular), cups, etc according to the task assigned. Communicating with the warehouse team for the availability of all the ingredients to assign the tasks.

What We Are Looking For

1+ years of experience in food prep, restaurant, warehouse, or busy retail environment preferred. Leadership experience preferred Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines. Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius. Extremely proficient at multitasking Detail oriented and meticulous Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts Ability to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kgs) Punctual attendance is essential.
