About us

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (PMHA) is an academic based, 10-month Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) school located in Pilot Mound, Manitoba, Canada and is home to 100+ male and female student athletes, ages 13-18, who live in dormitory style accommodations.

PMHA's mission is to provide a professional, education-based hockey program, richly embedded in community values. Our student athletes attend Pilot Mound Collegiate Institute (PMCI), and play/train at the Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Complex.

PMHA is seeking passionate, skilled, energetic, and proactive coaches to join our PMHA family, who are dedicated to advancing PMHA's mandate and the hockey development pathway of our student athletes, within a structured academic environment.

PMHA is a prep school, dormitory style environment, consisting of:

U15 Male Prep U17 Male (Varsity/AAA) U17 Male Prep U18 Male Prep U18 Female Prep 8 AAA spring hockey teams from birth years 2010-2015 (non-dorm) Skill Development Program (non-dorm) Hockey Mentorship (non-dorm)
All five prep and varsity/AAA teams compete in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL), along with tournaments and exhibition play for a total of approximately 50 games per season.

Full time and part time coaching opportunities along with additional placement in other hockey, skill development, player development, and recruitment roles within the PMHA coaching structure, pending fit.

Responsibilities:

Full coaching responsibilities from September to May Strong focus on individual and team skill development, strength and conditioning, and league success Focus on off ice citizenship, personal development and growth Evening and weekend travel required Participate in skill development camps and mentorship throughout the year Actively recruit student athletes to the team for the following season
Accommodations (room and board) may be available in our new dormitory building.

Part time and full time positions available

Salary Range: $25,000 - $60,000 CDN per annum
