Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager. Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils. Support the team during meal service by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery of food to customers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
