We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and preparing meals according to established standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed. Support chefs and other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including plating dishes and preparing garnishes. Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations and cleaning up after service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field. Training pay-$18(5 shifts)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
